- Ahhh-kay- Your version of okay that you used to tell us that you agreed with us. For example, 'Dylan do you want to watch 'Cool Tricks' on Yo Gabba Gabba', "Ahhh-kay" Funny thing was you would wait to use it until we said what you wanted. You would be screaming your head off and frantically we would go through a list of thing "Do you want this, this, this, or this"...you would withhold the ahhh-kay until we landed on the one you had in mind. (I haven't heard this in months, since you found your own words.)
- I turn- Your version of my turn. So cute, but unfortunately this has been missing for a few months. We never even corrected you because it was so adorable!
- Mines- Enough said here. It's like yours, his, and hers....but this is MINES!!
- Achize- Not sure if this is the best spelling, but I think it is phonetically what you are aiming for. Instead of the word french fries, you say Achize. We don't know why...and of course, being the perfect parents that we are, we have never given you french fries either ;). One day we were in the car and you started demanding achize. I gave in and while we were in the drive thru, I thought this would be a great learning opportunity. My thinking was if you are going to eat the junk food, you may as well know how to say it. So I said, "Dylan these are French Fries, not Achize. " You said, "No, Mommy ACHIZE!". I knew this was not going to go well, so being stubborn I tried again. You responded,"NO MOMMY ACHIZE." I tried one more time (for giggles and blog stories), and you said "Okay, French ACHIZE". I gave up, and I know that one day this word will be history like the rest on my list. :(
- Inky- You call your blanket Inky. We don't know why, but Inky is now a proper noun in our house. We are so used to it, that Inky is like a family member. When Inky is missing...no one is happy.
- Kank You/You're Kelcome- You have always said Kank You and You're Kelcome. Even funnier is when someone says 'You're welcome' to you, you say... "I kelcome"..LOVE IT!
- I U- This is a family favorite, and now even the grown ups are using it. You have always said, " I U" In place of, "I love you." :)
I'm sure there will be more, but for now... this is all that comes to mind.
