Big Day for LaLa!!

Olivia turned 8 months old on Thursday, and we had her Pediatrician check up yesterday. She was 27.5 inches tall and 18 lbs. 4 ozs. which is the 50th percentile for both. (Her head is still in the 85th percentile for size...and that's without a spot of hair!) Here is a picture of her standing up by herself for the first time in the doctor's waiting room...I put her in the standing position, but she balanced very well!!



To celebrate LaLa's coming of age we graduated her to the big girl car seat. She was overflowing the infant chair, and so it was a must needed change. We moved Dylan to the big boy chair at 6 months so she is a little behind Dylan's schedule.



We also let her try her first finger foods. Here is a sequence of shots in which Olivia was gagging on some of those baby puff snacks. She HATED the texture! Dylan offered to help her out, and so you'll see him taking it from her and shoving it in his mouth. Such a helpful big brother. :)
