Olivia - Sick Day=Fun Day

Olivia was sick today (strep throat), which is highly unusual for her.  Even the pediatrician commented, "I'm used to seeing your brothers, not you Miss Olivia."  To which she replied, "Well, my Mommy tried to fix me but couldn't.  So, we HAVE to come see you!"  Way to let the man down easy.

An hour later she accompanied me to my own Dr. visit.  During my sign in process, Olivia leaned over the counter and said to the grumpy old lady, "My brother and I keep telling Mommy she is having another baby because of her big belly.  Is that why we are here?" Um, no......but, thanks anyway kid!

We went home, I worked, she played, we got McDonald's, we ate chocolate.  We hid in the closet periodically (with our matching laptops and the pup) from the tornado warnings brought on by Tropical Storm Andrea.  Olivia jumped on a video conference call I had with my friend and coworker, Michelle.  And, all was right in our little Girls Only Club.

I guess that's why, rightfully so, on our way to go and get the boys from school Olivia decided that we simply didn't need to pick them up....ever!  She liked hanging out with me, and determined that 'the boys just make it all difficult!'  Profound words, my mini-me, profound!
