Today was a similar show of his little 'tude, only directed at Mommy. I thought I was his 'best friend', 'favorite person', 'best girl'...apparently that love is fickle. When I asked him not to do something (who knows what, it was a long day) he responded with 'na-na-na-na'...Mocking me with his tongue hanging out, like a little devil! Angry and a little offended I asked him to go to timeout. He did without question. Dylan saved the day though. As Grayson lay on the rug at the front door yelling, "I all done, mommy?"...Dylan walked over (not knowing I was in the room) and made me SOOOOO proud:
"Grayson, when you said, 'na-na-na' to mommy she was upset because it didn't make you sound like a good boy, in fact, it sounded rude. You are a good boy though. You know how to sound like a good boy? You should say things like, "Hi, mommy how was your day?" or " Mommy, thank you for dinner." Then you can make us all proud. We love you Grayson, but you can't be rude to Mommy."
