Me: "Do you think I'm a nice mommy?" (Yes, leading question..)
Olivia: "yes, but when you aren't its becuse you just try to teach us lessons."
Me: "What lessons do you remember?"
(Insert dramatic pause and slight fear)
Olivia: "life stuff, so we can make good choices and not end up in dirty clothes sleeping on a park bench, with no food and no money."
Apparently, when I answered Dylan's question 2 months ago regarding why the man on the side of the road had a sign, Olivia was paying attention.
Maybe I'm doing a few things 50% right. This raising responsible adults job is SUCH a challenge!
