Dylan is growing up so much that we thought we would try out a 'slumber party' at Nana's house. We have had Nana stay here with the kids while we've been away countless times in the past, but this is different. This is a real, pack your bags, slumber party. For some reason this symbolizes growing up to me, and I couldn't help but tear up as they drove off.....so strange. Then, John and I sat here like we didn't know what to do with ONLY two kids :) Funny how your perspective changes sooooooo quickly. It's just that Dylan is SUCH a presence in our house, things are a lot quieter and less exciting to say the least.
Given that the slumber party is still in progress, I'll provide an update if he makes it to sleep at Nana's :) Who knows?
