Another part of our preparation for Grayson is to make our master bedroom as accommodating to sleep as possible. (Per the last blog post, Grayson will most likely be in the pack-n-play in our room for a minimum of 8-12 weeks.) This is very different than with Dylan and Olivia, I think they were both out by 4 weeks.
Anyway, this week we hung light blocking shades. By we, I mean John (and his assistant Dylan). In the frustration of trying to manuever around wood blinds, a cornice board, and curtains, John said "Uggh....no simple project is ever simple." To that Dylan very appropriately replied, "JOHN ROBERT, this is not about YOU! This is about everyone!"
We were crying laughing. We are pretty sure he doesn't know what that means, but it couldn't have been more on point!
