The countdown is on

With less than 2 weeks to go before Grayson is due to arrive, we are making the final preparations. My last day of work was this Friday so that I could have 10 days or so of rest (LOL) before we become a family of 5!! As any mother knows, there is no rest to be had in those final weeks before delivery...but, its wishful thinking.

To add to our stress we decided to move Dylan to a new preschool starting tomorrow 10/19. You know how they say your kids are trying to tell you something??? Well, Dylan was CRYING everyday on the way to school, begging not to go the night before, and telling horror stories about jumping jacks being used while in time out as punishment. HE IS ONLY 3, so enough was enough. We are confident we made the right decision, but anxious about mixing up Dylan's little world. The great news is that his buddy, Brayden, will be his classmate at the new place...and my buddy Lisa (Brayden's Mommy) are going to Starbucks at 9AM tomorrow to celebrate :)

I feel good, just large. Though many say I'm all baby. Due to the massive amounts of icecream I've consumed, I know that's not the case. This week I've had several painful rounds of contractions, but nothing real. I really feel like Grayson has finally dropped, because I can breath a little better and the heartburn is tolerable. I have had this incredible hip pain that I've never had before this baby. I truly believe this is my body's way of waving the white flag, saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We are thrilled to meet our third and FINAL baby. :) Dylan keeps asking when Baby Grayson will be here, and Olivia constantly kisses my belly and says 'Baby' very lovingly.

I think we have bought and set up everything that we need for Day 1. The car seat, the pack n play, the double stroller, washed and folded the newborn clothes, etc. We are good to go, bring it on G.
