Quite a lil' shindig

I am about 26 days late in posting this update, but have to preserve these memories before they fade away....in my....muttled....mommy.....mush brain.  Seems like that is much more likely to happen these days, I can't sit still long enough to soak in the moments let alone recall them :)  Luckily, in this instance, I have pics :)

Okay, onto the story.  Grayson is now 3!  Somehow the last 3 years have flown by and my our little baby boy has become a full-blown kid.  Being "3" brings all kinds of fun like using a potty, occasionally skipping naps, having a serious opinion about life, being able to hang with the big kids at the pool and playground, and (in Grayson's case) finally having enough hair to brush and trim...just a little.

To celebrate his birthday all that Grayson wanted was 'candles', so Daddy encouraged us to make that happen (and then some).  Being Kid#3 birthday's have been celebrated a little more subtly than previously with Dylan and Olivia.  So we went all out.  I went Pinterest idea crazy, and we had ourselves a hoe-down fully equipped with a horse and a pony, pinata, corn hole, yummy lunch, cupcakes, and of course the trampoline.  The children were thoroughly exhausted!
