Most times going to Publix (or any grocery store) with all 3 kids is a *gasp* undertaking to say the least. I am that mom who is either:
(a) tragically ignoring her loud, obnoxious kids
or
(b) losing her cool trying to keep them in 'order'
Today it was like a weirdo-vortex had sucked my children in and spit out 3 kids using manners, exhibiting PDA toward each other, and trying desperately to impress me with helpfulness. At one point an old guy asked if they were having a 'lovefest' as Olivia and Dylan fought over holding and kissing Grayson. They were like a toppling tower of kids in the freezer aisle. My honest reply was, "I'm not sure whose kids these are. I've never seen this before in my life."
We made it home in our little harmonious (and slightly bizarre) happy place, made SMORES, watched a movie, and had a fantastic evening. I love these little buggers. I wonder if this is a turning point in their maturity....or, just a new moon or something out of our control!
