This past weekend we drove to Jacksonville to attend a very special wedding. My cousin Rebecca (or as Olivia says "The Princess") got married to Fred, a very handsome police officer (who Dylan found to be extremely intriguing given the weaponry part of being a cop).
The setting was beautiful, the couple looked like they belonged on top of a cake, and my kids were damn cute! We danced until they kicked us out, and as good parents do we taught our kids how to not just observe a party but to engage in it! God help us when they get a taste for the magic juice that makes this partying so much more fun.
So, that makes 2 weddings out of 14 cousins on the Hayward side. Sounds like we had better prepare for a lot more late night dancing in the coming years when the other 12 get hitched.
