Grayson 2 months old

Grayson hit the two month mark this week, and celebrated by getting his first cold/upper respiratory infection. It's funny we thought Dylan got sick all the time as a baby, but he was sheltered from daycare germs until he was 2 years old (thank you Cathy Berg). Grayson, who will never see a daycare, has the luxury of older siblings, and may as well be in daycare due to the germs that they bring home. Okay, that's not the point of this post. Back to Grayson.

This baby is so damn cute, but still ranks 2nd behind Olivia in terms of 'easy baby'. On the positive side of things, Grayson has a normal bedtime of 7 PM and wakes for the day at 7 AM. He is waking up only once per night to eat (around 2AM). The smiles are endless when awake, and naps are a routine part of his day. These are the things that make us fall so deeply in love that.....we could want a 4th. ;) (See pictures 1 and 2 as evidence of this happy baby)

He is a little temperamental though (hence being ranked 2nd), and hates when you change positions quickly (like from your shoulder, to laying him down). And, the second you lay him into the swaddle blanket, he freaks OUT because he knows he is going to bed!! But, then once the pacifier is swaddled into his mouth (a Mommy trick) he goes immediately into a deep sleep. See what I mean, good and bad. (See picture 3 as evidence of 'temperamental baby') :)
