As I mentioned in a couple of previous posts, we began
ISR (
thanks to our friends Paul and Jen) on 9.2.08, and Dylan and Olivia both hated Day 1, Day 2, and Days 3-10...but, by the third or fourth week they were a little happier to learn their survival skills for 10 minutes a day
everyday. Honestly, they were never THRILLED to be there, but we feel that they now have another 'tool' in their toolbox in case of emergency. By week 6 Olivia was floating like a champ, and Dylan could do the swim-float-swim sequence without any prompting.
For those of you with babies who can not swim....it is not worth the risk. 10 minutes a day for 4-6 weeks could save their lives.
