This morning Dylan woke up before everyone (not surprising), so I got up to feed him pancakes and fruit. When breakfast was wrapping up I heard Olivia stirring on the baby monitor so I brought her out to the family room. I placed her on her play mat and went get a much needed cup of coffee. (Keep in mind it is 6:30 AM)
While I was in the kitchen I heard Dylan talking in his high pitched big brother voice. He was crouching over Olivia saying, "Hi Lala!!!! I U." (I U= I love you in Dylan talk). Then he kissed her on the head and said, "I missed you LaLa, I missed you. You are a good boy." That must be a phrase that he hears from us.... :-)

as for our children picking up phrases their parent's say, Jaeden recently added 'no' to his vocabulary...
