"Hand, Foot, and Mouth" + a Bite Mark!!!

Those are all of the things that Dylan brought home with him from school this week. Dylan was running a fever on Tuesday, and so off to Dr.Placheril's we went.....again. He was diagnosed with Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. It is very common among kids and has very yucky symptoms such as: sores in the mouth, a rash, a fever, and (my favorite) puking.

He was really acting quite fine despite feeling so gross, so being the risk takers that we are we sent him back to school today. As I greeted Dylan, the daycare owner mentioned how 'delicious' he is. She then commented that she was not the only one who thought so, and showed me the HUGE, RED bite mark on his arm. And here is the proof: (Yes, we are crazy and took these pics tonight after he passed out cold from his favorite nighttime cocktail, Motrin.)

So, it was another fun week in our household. All capped off with our routine trip to see Dr. Placheril.

Hope everyone else has a good rest of your week. (Fingers crossed for Mr. Dylan.) :-)

I think the next step is to tent your house.
