Grayson sneaking out of bed to find John on the couch while I was in our room and overheard.
Grayson: "Daddy, I not tired."
John: "Buddy, you are getting so big. You look like such a big boy!"
Grayson: "Do I look big like Dylan? I want to be like Dylan."
Olivia at the playground during baseball.
Olivia: "Mommy, when can I come to the park by myself?"
Me: "When you are older."
Olivia: "Like 100?"
Me: "100 is a long way away, maybe sooner...Let's say 13."
Olivia: "100 would be too far because then I'd be dead, right?"
Dylan over dinner after a long day.
Dylan: "Sorry Daddy, Mommy told me we are poor."
John: "What do you mean buddy?"
Dylan: "I can't explain it. Sorry, it's just how it is."
