Today we had the annual 'Breakfast with Santa' event at the kids' school. I realized in the 50 degree weather that I have NO WARM CLOTHING for the kids or myself. And, the stuff that I do have is most certainly not red and green. Nonetheless, the kids saw Santa, ate breakfast, rode a train, and bounced in a gymnasium/bounce house bus.
When the kids got to Santa's lap, Olivia (without being prompted) launched into the list of the 100's of things she wants. Dylan waited patiently for his turn, while he kept an eye (and arm) on Grayson. Then, Santa asked Dylan what was on his wish list...and Miss Olivia interrupted because she 'wasn't done'. She then went on to list about 5 more things before giving Dylan the stage. At the end of it all, Santa told Dylan that he could touch his red Santa suit and so Dylan proceeded to pet Santa's suit and then pet his beard. As you can see in the pics, this Santa had a real beard...hope he didn't mind the extra attention.
All in all, we had fun.
(BTW- Gray's pants, are not capris...despite how they look in the pics!)
