Lately, I feel like I am more frustrated by this little princess than I am pleased. Don't get me wrong, I love her just like I do the others BUT, she is such a pistol. I feel like if I were to read other posts about Dylan at the same age as Olivia is now, I would read the same types of stories of my frustration only with Olivia it seems a little different. Girls have a little bit of a different way of revealing their terrible-two-ness. Dylan used to make me crazy because he was so hyper that he just didn't take the time to listen to me. He had better things to do than what was on my agenda. Olivia is different. She hears me, looks at me, smirks, and intentionally does the opposite just to get a rise out of me. As evidenced in this picture above, when I asked her to smile for a picture. This is your basic, "Go to Hell!" face. The net result is the same, two year olds are independent. Just seems that from my experience girls do it in a way that throws it in your face that they are really in charge. She also does this other thing that Dylan never really did. If she gets in trouble, she begs for daddy and then plays him like a fiddle. No exaggeration, she saunters over to him with big tears and tells him she loves him....then, pleads her case to him as if I am some type of corrupt police office and he is the judge. RIDICULOUS!!!
She also must have some psychic ability because as I am writing this post she just stopped doing her puzzle, looked at me and said, "Mommy, I love you. You know that, right?"
Okay, I will keep her.

Try working in a school of 340 7th-12th grade girls. DRAMA-A-RAMA!!! I pray that I have boys. :-) Of course, if I have girls, I will love them just the same. At least Olivia is adorable... try dealing with non-adorable girls who are not nice at all. Ugh!! :-)
@Jordan- no thanks, mine is potty trained!
@Martha- I can only imagine the hell of all those girls. You were a good kid to your parents, so chances are your kids will be good to you. I, on the other hand, am probably being punished for my actions in high school. :>)
