Dylan turns 4

I can't believe our oldest baby is now 4 years old! In some ways 4 sounds SOOO young. It is shocking to me that in his four short years of life, we have also added 2 more babies to our brood. But, in other ways 4 seems like a lifetime. The milestones that he has met in this time has been amazing. From a broken leg, attending two different preschools, learning to ride a bike with training wheels, learning to swim, his first tee-ball bat, golf clubs, and soccer team....the list goes on.

Dylan is very intense and loving. He reminds me so much of his daddy with engineer like ability to disassemble anything and heightened intensity when things don't go exactly as planned. I couldn't imagine our lives without this little man. I really think that at times he believes he is the third parent, and that Olivia and Grayson are his children too. The best part about Dylan is that has a knack for building a special bond with all people close to him, and making them feel special. God help us when he starts dating!

(Above) Dylan is tackling Spiderman, and Olivia is looking on with total fear in her eyes. She was screaming, 'You ok Spiderman?!?!'. Apparently, that means that Dylan is the one to fear.
