What's going on with us......

Just a general update on what's going on in our household.

Dylan completed his swim (ISR) refresher courses about a month ago and is doing a great job in the pool. He stands on the steps and dives for objects with no hesitation. When he runs out of air, he goes right to his float and then swims again. It is amazing, and was well worth the nightly hard work!

Olivia will be 'graduating' this week from swim and is doing very well. She is not as strong as her brother, but she makes up for that by being completely FEARLESS! Her float is definitely her strongsuit.

Leo, the cat, was put to sleep about 2 weeks ago, due to many complications and frustrations from his diabetes. It was a tough, tough decision but the best decision for our family. Dexter, the cat, is lost and confused...which is a little heartbreaking for us. It is hard to imagine that we only have 2 pets now. Especially, when we started with a small zoo.

John is starting a new job with Johnson Brothers in August. We couldn't be happier, but we know this will be a big change. He will be managing a few teams in Tampa/Bradenton/Sarasota, so we are preparing for longer hours.

Baby #3 is due to join us in 13 short weeks. I am planning to work until the middle of October (about 11 more weeks), but have been suffering from some back pain which is different from my other pregnancies. I honestly think its from carrying both Dylan and Olivia around on my hip, so I am TRYING to quit the habit. You moms know how tough that is!

The Strandbergs (our next door neighbors) have officially moved, and we are all in disbelief that this day has ACTUALLY arrived. I will save the details for another dedicated post to the blog. :(
