Been a while since i've posted, but here are a couple of recent Dylan funnies:
John: "Buddy, time to go potty."
Dylan: "Nope, I don't want to go potty."
John: "I'm being serious, let's go."
Dylan: "DAD! STOP! I'm freaking out to you right now!"
No, we don't say that to Dylan, but we have probably said that about him... "Don't freak out" or something to that effect... :^)
Next scenario. I set the alarm and left Dylan watching TV (sick with the flu) while I took a shower. Olivia was taking a nap at the time. Dylan has a plate of waffles, so I assumed he was set. When I got out of the shower there was an entire new plate full of syrup, no waffles and syrup bottle on the floor. Dylan explained that he "looked for me, but I was in the bath..so got the syrup himself." Everything is by himself these days. :)
